Holding an Applied Science Degree in Healthcare Office Management from Harper College, Jackie’s dedication to facilitating optimal healthcare experiences for families is unwavering. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Jackie finds joy in spending quality time with her loved ones, including her family, friends, and cherished canine companions. Meet Rebecca, our Administrative Assistant at Step Forward Therapy. With a diverse educational background, including a BA in sociology, a BS in nutrition, and a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine, Rebecca brings a wealth of knowledge and a multifaceted perspective to her role. Since joining our team in 2022, Rebecca has been instrumental in ensuring smooth operations and providing invaluable support to our staff and clients alike. Outside of her professional commitments, Rebecca finds fulfillment in her roles as a spouse and mother to three children. During her leisure time, she prioritizes maintaining a healthy lifestyle through fitness activities, indulging in enriching literature, and cherishing moments with her loved ones. 

Introducing Cindy, our Client Care Coordinator at Step Forward Therapy. She has a degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University. Cindy brings a unique blend of analytical skills and compassionate care to our team. After dedicating time to raising her three children, Cindy joined Step Forward in 2023, eager to contribute her expertise to our mission of providing exceptional care. Outside of her professional endeavors, Cindy finds joy in supporting her children at their sporting events, sharing leisurely walks with friends, and immersing herself in home improvement projects. With her versatile background and commitment to service, Cindy plays a pivotal role in ensuring our clients receive the highest standard of care and support.

Meet Emily, our Client Care Coordinator at Step Forward Therapy. With over seven years of experience in the administrative side of the medical field, Emily plays a vital role in supporting families and keeping daily operations running smoothly. She is often one of the first friendly faces families connect with and is passionate about making every interaction positive, supportive, and stress-free. Emily truly enjoys helping others and believes that even the smallest moments of care can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life. She joined the Step Forward Therapy team with the goal of making an impact and supporting children and families on their therapy journey. Outside of the clinic, Emily loves traveling near and far and spending quality time with her family and her dogs.

Meet Karla, our Scheduling Coordinator at Step Forward Therapy. With over 10 years of customer service experience, Karla brings a strong commitment to helping others and creating positive experiences for every family she works with. Taking care of people has always been a true passion of hers, and she takes pride in providing thoughtful, compassionate support. Karla plays an important role in helping families feel welcomed, heard, and supported throughout their time at Step Forward Therapy. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys crafting, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.

Meet Morgan, our Scheduling Coordinator at Step Forward Therapy.  She plays an important role in keeping the clinic running smoothly for both families and therapists. She enjoys interacting with children and families each day and helping make their experience at the clinic a positive one. Morgan graduated from Trinity Christian College and brings a warm, organized approach to her role. Outside of work, she enjoys shopping, walking her dog, and trying new restaurants. She loves being part of a team that supports children and families every step of the way.

Meet Danni, our Billing and Collections Specialist at Step Forward Therapy. She is proud to say that her career in the field began 8 years ago. She feels extremely fortunate to be a part of such an amazing team. Her main priority is to create a warm, positive experience for our patients, making certain they receive the very best care and support. She is passionate about fostering the best patient care. When not at work, Danni’s two children keep her and her husband (very!) busy and laughing!

Meet Debbi, our HR and operations assistant at Step Forward Therapy. I bring over three decades of experience in people-focused roles, having spent 31 years with Crate and Barrel. I began my career in retail stores, progressed into store management, and later transitioned to the corporate office, where I worked in Human Resources. My HR career included roles in Associate Relations and Recruiting, allowing me to support employees at every stage of their professional journey. After retiring from Crate and Barrel, I joined Step Forward Therapy a year and a half ago as a Recruiter, where I continue to focus on building strong teams and supporting a mission-driven organization. 

Meet Sofia, our Marketing Specialist at Step Forward Therapy. Sofia is passionate about sharing the clinic’s mission and connecting families with the support their children need to thrive. She earned her degree in Sociology with a minor in Public Relations from Carthage College, where she developed a strong interest in understanding people, communication, and community impact. With a genuine love for marketing and a heart for working with kids, Sofia believes every child deserves access to the right resources to reach their fullest potential. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, doing her nails, and playing pickleball.
