Meet Diana Z., our dedicated billing specialist at Step Forward Therapy. With over 8 years of experience in the medical field, Diana is a certified medical biller and coder, holding credentials as a Certified Coding Associate (CCA) from AHIMA. Her passion for helping others extends beyond her professional role, as she actively ensures that families comprehend and optimize their medical benefits. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Diana goes the extra mile to bridge language barriers and facilitate clear communication. Beyond her work, Diana finds joy in various activities such as crafting delectable desserts, engaging in spirited games of badminton, and cherishing moments with loved ones. With her expertise and compassionate approach, Diana ensures that patients receive accurate billing and appropriate compensation for the invaluable services they receive at Step Forward Therapy.

Meet Rebecca, our accomplished Administrative Assistant at Step Forward Therapy. With a diverse educational background including a BA in sociology, a BS in nutrition, and a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine, Rebecca brings a wealth of knowledge and a multifaceted perspective to her role. Since joining our team in 2022, Rebecca has been instrumental in ensuring smooth operations and providing invaluable support to our staff and clients alike. Outside of her professional commitments, Rebecca finds fulfillment in her roles as a spouse and mother to three children. During her leisure time, she prioritizes maintaining a healthy lifestyle through fitness activities, indulging in enriching literature, and cherishing moments with her loved ones. Rebecca’s dedication to excellence and her dynamic skill set make her an indispensable asset to the Step Forward Therapy team.

Introducing Cindy, our esteemed Client Care Coordinator at Step Forward Therapy. Armed with a degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, Cindy brings a unique blend of analytical skills and compassionate care to our team. After dedicating time to raising her three children, Cindy joined Step Forward in 2023, eager to contribute her expertise to our mission of providing exceptional care. Outside of her professional endeavors, Cindy finds joy in supporting her children at their sporting events, sharing leisurely walks with friends, and immersing herself in home improvement projects. With her versatile background and commitment to service, Cindy plays a pivotal role in ensuring our clients receive the highest standard of care and support.

Meet Emily!  With over seven years experience in the administration portion of the medical field, she is happy to help answer any scheduling questions. Emily enjoys helping people and making a difference whether small or large in someone’s life. She is enthused to join the Step Forward Therapy Team to make a difference. In her free time, she enjoys traveling near and far and spending time with her family and dogs. 

Meet Avery! With a Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation and seven years of customer service experience, Avery is dedicated to making a positive impact, especially when working with kids. She’s passionate about helping others and thrives in environments where she can offer support and care. Outside of work, Avery enjoys getting creative with pottery, fostering dogs in need, and discovering new foods and desserts. She’s excited to be part of a team that values making a difference in people’s lives.

Danni is proud to say that her career in the field began 8 years ago. She feels extremely fortunate to be a part of such an amazing team. Her main priority is to create a warm, positive experience for our patients, making certain they receive the very best care and support. She is passionate about fostering the best patient care. When not at work, Danni’s two children keep her and her husband (very!) busy and laughing!

Meet Nikki, our passionate Billing and Collections Specialist at Step Forward Therapy. She brings several years of healthcare and management experience. Nikki also has extensive patient scheduling experience, having overseen hospital and outpatient scheduling services. Nikki’s contribution to Step Forward Therapy is unique due to her combined administrative and clinical expertise. Nikki’s passion for healthcare is unwavering, and she is dedicated to providing patients and families with the best care. Her favorite part about working in healthcare is being able to help patients feel comfortable and supported. One thing about Nikki, is that she will always go above and beyond for our patients. Outside of the clinic, Nikki enjoys writing and painting, spending time with her loved ones, and exploring the outdoors. Nikki is looking forward to the opportunity to support all of the wonderful patients and families that the team serves.
