Meet Ramona, she holds Montessori teaching credentials from MECA (Montessori Education Centers Associated 2009) and earned her yoga certification in 2002. She was also the co-founder of Upbeat Productions, an entertainment company specializing in children’s events. These experiences allow her to blend education, creativity, and mindfulness in a unique and impactful way.

For over two decades, Ramona has dedicated her life to early childhood education. As a lead Montessori teacher, children’s performer, and founder of MYM (Montessori, Yoga, and Meditation), she has planted seeds of mindfulness, creativity, and confidence in young learners. Her mission has always been to nurture children through meaningful, joyful, and engaging learning experiences.

Driven by a passion for travel, Ramona has had the opportunity to observe schools in many countries, thoughtfully integrating global teaching techniques into her classroom practice.

Her hobbies are endless, but a few favorites include reading, dancing, creating art from natural materials, and caring for animals. Ramona is happiest under the sun, especially when she’s near any body of water.

Meet Kelli, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Children’s Studies from Illinois State University. Currently, she is working towards her Master’s in Occupational Therapy at North Central College. While working at SFT, Kelli was inspired to become an OT herself after witnessing the immense impact the therapists make on their clients and families. 

Kelli enjoys being a part of her students’ growth and witnessing their resilience. She likes fostering a fun and educational classroom that supports each child’s needs. Kelli enjoys learning from and working alongside her colleagues to best support the kids. Outside of work, Kelli likes to be active outside, spend time with friends and family, and practice yoga!
