At Step Forward Therapy, our preschool staff members are dedicated to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where young learners can thrive. Led by our experienced preschool teacher, our team is committed to fostering a love for learning, social development, and school readiness in every child who walks through our doors.
Stacey E.
Preschool Teacher
Meet Stacey, a passionate member of the Step Forward Therapy team. Stacey’s journey into working with special needs children began as she raised her own family. With a BA in Communications from Eastern Illinois University, Stacey spent 13 fulfilling years as a stay-at-home mom.
Her personal experience with her eldest son, who has Autism, inspired her to join Step Forward Therapy as a Preschool Teacher. It was here that her son received occupational therapy for many years, igniting Stacey’s dedication to supporting children with special needs. She finds joy in interacting with her students, witnessing their growth, learning, and resilience in facing challenges.
Outside of work, Stacey is happily married and a proud parent to two sons and a daughter. During her leisure time, she indulges in true crime shows and cherishes moments spent with her family.
